1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using GradScoutFunding ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. GradScoutFunding is operated by the GradScoutFunding team, reachable at hammedpoms123@gmail.com.

2. What GradScoutFunding does

GradScoutFunding is a tool that helps graduate school applicants discover professors whose research matches their interests, generate personalised cold outreach emails using AI, send those emails, and track responses. GradScoutFunding is not a placement service and does not guarantee admission, funding, or professor responses.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and app passwords secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use GradScoutFunding.
  • One account per person. Do not share your account with others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use GradScoutFunding only for legitimate graduate school outreach. You must not:

  • Use GradScoutFunding to send spam or unsolicited bulk emails unrelated to academic applications.
  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications in emails generated by the Service.
  • Use GradScoutFunding to harass, threaten, or abuse any professor or individual.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell GradScoutFunding or its underlying technology.
  • Use automated scripts to abuse the platform or circumvent usage limits.

5. Email sending

When you connect your email and send emails through GradScoutFunding, you are responsible for the content sent. GradScoutFunding generates drafts using AI — you should review them before sending. By sending emails through GradScoutFunding, you confirm that you have the right to use the connected email account and that the emails comply with applicable anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and similar regulations in your country).

6. Credits and payments

  • Free plan: 2 credits at no cost. No credit card required.
  • Starter plan ($5): 100 credits. One-time purchase.
  • Pro plan ($12): 300 credits. One-time purchase.
  • 1 credit = discover 1 professor email OR generate 1 cold email.
  • Credits are consumed when a professor email is discovered or an AI email is generated.
  • Credits do not expire but are non-transferable between accounts.
  • All payments are processed securely by Flutterwave.

7. Refund policy

Due to the digital nature of email credits (which are consumed immediately upon use), we do not offer refunds for used credits. If you experience a technical error that incorrectly consumed credits, contact us within 7 days at hammedpoms123@gmail.com and we will investigate and restore credits where appropriate.

8. Intellectual property

GradScoutFunding and its content (excluding your personal data and CV) are owned by GradScoutFunding. You retain ownership of the content you provide (CV text, research interests). By using the Service, you grant GradScoutFunding a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

GradScoutFunding is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • Professor emails found are current or accurate (they are algorithmically generated).
  • Professors will respond to your emails.
  • You will receive funding or admission as a result of using GradScoutFunding.
  • The Service will be available without interruption.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GradScoutFunding shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, failed applications, or email deliverability issues. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of GradScoutFunding after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
